![]() In 2020, the SkyTerrace outdoor observation deck was opened here, for public use.įormerly known as the North Terminal, this 36-gate terminal includes the E Gates (13 gates) and F Gates (23 gates), and serves as United Airlines' domestic hub. ![]() Originally built in 1954 as the Central Terminal, this 25-gate terminal is now home to the C Gates (10 gates) and D Gates (15 gates), and serves as the hub for Alaska Airlines. In 2011, Terminal 2 became the first airport terminal in the US to achieve LEED Gold status, following a two-year, $383 million renovation. Frontier Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines are scheduled to move in by 2023. Home to the B Gates (16 in total), Terminal 1 serves flights on American Airlines, JetBlue, and Southwest. In 2020, it became the world’s first airport terminal to earn a Fitwel certification (a building rating system for healthy buildings) and was awarded “Best in Building Health 2021” by the Center for Active Design. Now in the final stages of a $2.4 billion renovation, Terminal 1 has been transformed into an environmentally friendly space that maximizes its use of air, water, and electricity.
